Linda Daniele is an award-winning writer, journalist and editor based in Sydney, Australia. She has worked as a legal publisher for 15 years, and in that time worked as a freelance journalist at The Australian, Inner West Courier, South Sydney Herald, City Hub and City News in Sydney. She is a contributing feature writer for Reportage, the online magazine of the Australian Centre for Independent Journalism, and has written for magazines including Precinct and Festival News. Linda was awarded a scholarship from the Italian Embassy to live and study in Rome, Italy during 2007. In that time, she completed a Specialised Masters in Journalism, Communications and Publishing at Roma Tre University, Rome. In 2009 she edited the UTS Writers’ Anthology On The Side, published by Brandl & Schlesinger. Her creative writing has been recognised in the 2006 Sydney Mardi Gras Short Story Competition. Linda is studying for a Master of Arts in Journalism and a Graduate Diploma in Writing at the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS). She has degrees in commerce and law.
